- I have noticed my roller door has been slipping after I have raised it, what's happening?
- The counterbalance springs have probably lost some tension; a good service should remedy this and will keep the door in line with Reg 5 of the work place regulations. Contact our service dept for further details.
- My door is exposed to windy conditions how can I stop it blowing in?
- A sliding wind brace can solve the problem by adding extra rigidity when you need it most .Effectively halving the width of the door
- I have a sliding shutter manufactured by Westland Engineering Ltd can I still get spares?
- Probably, we have not made many changes to the door in the past 25 years and hold a healthy stock of spare parts .Should the part not be available we will be happy to advise the best way forward.

- Not from Wessex Industrial Doors. We took over the Industrial Door side of Westland Engineering not the domestic side. Garador now manufacture these, but, they do not deal with end users. Jewsons and Bradford Builders Merchants are stockist and should be able to help.
- I have a WEL-FOLD, WEL LIFT, WEL RISE. Manufactured by Westland engineers, can I still get spare parts?
- We have limited stock of spares for these items but the doors themselves are no –longer in production. Contact our spares dept for furthers details.
- What do I do if my door breaks down out of hours?
- We have an emergency phone number on our answerphone which can be called 24/7, however these call outs will be subject to increased costs.
